No thanks!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just read a very <a title=\"In search of the perfect ice cube\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ginjourney.co.uk\/oddments\/in-search-of-the-perfect-ice-cube\/\" target=\"_blank\">interesting article<\/a>,\u00a0on the website <a title=\"Gin Journey\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ginjourney.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">www.ginjourney.co.uk<\/a>, about the perfect ice cube. The long and short of it is that your best off with water that has been boiled, to make your ice cubes. You should make them as large as possible and you should make them spherical. It carried on to links for where you can get spherical ice makers, so they do exist. A quick Google shows that there are several different designs, which all work on a\u00a0similar\u00a0principal, of shaping normal ice cubes. A\u00a0Japanese\u00a0example can be found <a title=\"Japanese ice ball maker\" href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.japantrendshop.com\/ice-ball-mold-for-perfect-ice-spheres-p-244.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and an American one <a title=\"Ice Ball Maker\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iceballmaker.com\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. I also found an\u00a0<a title=\"Making an ice ball maker\" href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/How-to-make-an-ice-ball-maker\/\" target=\"_blank\">instructional page<\/a> on how to make your own. Following a link from that page I found <a title=\"Making clear ice\" href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/How-to-make-crystal-clear-blocks-of-ice\/\" target=\"_blank\">another video<\/a> which shows how to make perfectly clear ice, which would be cool, having clear ice balls. Also I have found on <a title=\"Ice balls eBay search\" href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.ebay.com\/sch\/i.html?_nkw=round+ice+cubes\" target=\"_blank\">eBay<\/a> trays which make smaller ice balls on a much more cost\u00a0effective\u00a0scale.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cuwJEN3VG-Y\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I thought all of this was pretty cool and thought I&#8217;d share.
